A Little Bit About Me
I am a 55 year old African American Muslim woman. I am sincere, caring fun loving and enjoy helping others and working along side my family and friends.
I pride myself on learning, teaching and practicing my religion, as well as educating myself on the going ons in this world.
I enjoy going out with family, who are all practicing Muslims (two males 31, 26 daughter-in law 24 and my three grandchildren 5, 4, 3), friends, travelling when financial means permits, I love watching cartoons (by myself or with my grandchildren), forensic shows, comedy, bowling, listening to jazz music as well as listening to qur'anic recitation (have the whole qu'ran on cd's). I like outdoor activities (fishing, strolling in the park, gardening). I like cooking, sewing, laughing. I cover but do not wear a nikab (but have in the past). I sew all my islamic clothing including khimas and have made clothing for my sons and grandson. I presently reside in Savannah Georgia. I have just learned how to recognize and write arabia Alhamdulilah. I have been a Social Worker since 1996 and received my MSW in clinical studies in 2000. I enjoy my profession and with hopes that I can continue to work for as long as Allah (swa) allows me too. I am looking for someone that I can live in harmony with and enjoy life for as long as Allah (swa) bestows it upon us. I pride myself on being a good wholesome practicing Muslimah.

What I Am Looking For
A brother who follows after the Qur'an and the Sunnah and performs his husbands responsibilities according to the characteristics and manners that Allah (SWA) and Prophet Muhammad (saw) informed the brothers to do in the Qur'an and the Sunnah. An older brother who practices Islam (not hislam) and who is easy on teaching and learning. NOT A FRANTIC. One who takes the middleground. A brother that I can grow with in life (Islam) and love. A brother who attends Junnah. A brother that is employed and can be the maintainer of the household. One that can also assist in the household chores and responsibilities as Prophet Muhammad (saw) did with his household frequently.
